Text Box: TAX REFUND CONTEST: As a way to deter fraud and promote safety, we are running this contest for the first four months of this year. Any member who had their tax refunds direct deposited was automatically entered into the drawing. Drawings were/are held the first business day of February, March, April and May at 1:00 pm. Remember, be pro-active, shred any of your personal and financial information you want to dispose of. Also, your checks, whether it is a paycheck, tax check, social security check, etc., will be safer being direct deposited to your account instead of sitting in you mailbox for three days when you had to take that unexpected trip. Annual Meeting

The annual meeting was held at Kaskaskia College in the Student Center on Thursday, February 7th, 2008 at 6:00pm.  A $500 Savings Bond was given away along with an array of door prizes.  Everyone present received an Identity Theft Safety Kit and a KVCCU hidden message cup.  The food was awesome and fellowship was great.  We hope that you plan on attending our Annual Meeting in 2009!!
Text Box: Can you believe it’s that time of year again. Holiday World/Splashin’ Safari will be opening May 3rd, 2008. New this year for Splashin’ Safari is Kima Bay which includes seven slides and over 100 water play elements. Don’t forget the other cool water rides and theme park rides like The Voyage. Holiday World/Splashin’ Safari is a great family friendly theme/water park. Ticket prices this year at the credit union are: $33 for general admission and $28 for guests under 54”/Seniors age 60+. Ticket prices are for both parks and include free parking, free inner tubes for the water park and free soft drinks. Members may rates have the cost of the tickets withdrawn from their account at the credit union, signature is required. Tickets may also be purchased by cash, or money order by non-members. For our Share Draft/Checking account members:  If you are wanting to cash a draft drawn off your account with us, make the draft payable to you or to us (KVCCU).  We require that you endorse the back of the draft (only once you reach the credit union).  If you make the draft payable to CASH, the draft is now “open” for any person to cash, it is best that you don’t do this.  If you ever have any questions, please give us a call, we’ll be glad to help.
