Text Box: Holiday World will be opening May 7th, 2011, with Splashin’ Safari opening May 13th, 2011. Children and comfort were the goals of the new additions to Holiday World and Splashin Safari for 2011. New to the park is Safari Sam’s SplashLand which features 8 colorful body slides for smaller children, plus dozens of water-play elements in a shallow pool. Also new is Rudolph’s Round-Up which is a sleigh ride for smaller children to ride with older siblings & adults. Holiday World/Splashin’ Safari is a great family friendly theme/water park. Ticket prices this year at the credit union are: $36.00 for general admission and $31.00 for guests under 54”/Seniors age 60+. Ticket prices are for both parks and include free parking, free inner tubes for the water park and free soft drinks. Members may have the cost of the tickets withdrawn from their account at the credit union, signature is required. Tickets may also be purchased by cash, VISA credit cards, or money order by non-members. No personal checks drawn on another financial institution will be accepted. Tickets can not be mailed. All sales are final.

New Skip-A-Payment Loan Program

KVCCU has started a new Skip-A-Payment Loan program that will permit members to defer a scheduled monthly payment on selected consumer loans for a small nominal fee of $20. While there are a few regulations, this program will allow a member to skip a loan payment when they need some extra money for that vacation that’s coming up or around Christmas time. Annual Meeting

The annual meeting was held at Kaskaskia College on Thursday, February 24th. Everyone in attendance walked away with some great door prizes. The food was also amazing and the fellowship was great. If you weren’t able to make it, KVCCU extends a great thank you to all our members for your confidence and trust in us especially in the last year with all the changes the credit union went through. We have more changes in store for 2011 that will be beneficial for everyone and we can’t wait to report on those at next year’s annual meeting. We hope you will be able to join us as it’s sure to be another great time!
