After a few weeks of looking more like a haunted house rather than a credit union, we are wrapping up the construction with fantastic results! Over Memorial Day weekend, many people worked long hours to install new cabinets, desks, the ATM and our new Drive Up system. While the ATM will not be in working order until a few more weeks, the Drive Up is open and functional. Since the ATM and Night Deposit box are in the first lane, both Drive Up canisters are in the 2nd lane. We no longer have an actual drive up window, but we now have a video system to where we can not only see you, but still talk to you. With only a few finishing touches left, everything will be completed in time for our.... |

Who’s that new face around the Credit Union? Starting in May, we acquired a new Assistant Manager! Elizabeth Schroeder, who also goes by Liz, started among the craziness of the remodeling and is working her way through her training to help the Credit Union better serve its members. She is from Aviston, graduated from St. Louis University with a degree in HR Management and Marketing and brings marketing and management experience with her. When not at work, she likes to spend time watching Cardinal games, scrapbooking, and just enjoying time with friends and family. The next time you are at the Credit Union, stop in and say hello to Liz! |

ATM Opt In/Opt Out Notice Do you have a share draft (or checking) account with KVCCU? If so, new regulations now require KVCCU to obtain your consent to authorize, pay and charge for overdrafts for ATM and everyday debit card transactions. These new rules are already in effect for new accounts and will take effect August 15th, 2010 for existing accounts. So, how do these regulations effect you? If you say yes, KVCCU will cover ATM and everyday debit card transactions when there is not enough money in your account. This way, you may be covered for an unexpected emergency and avoid the inconvenience of having your ATM or everyday debit card transactions declined. If you say no, your debit card or ATM transactions may be declined if you don’t have enough funds in your account to cover them. Each member is required to opt in, or agree, to KVCCU’s overdraft service before overdraft fees may be assessed on the account. (The rule also provides members an ongoing right to revoke consent.)A separate mailing will be sent out and will describe the changes in the Regulation in greater detail so keep an eye out! |
